»Razvoj in uporaba aptamernih analitskih orodij za diagnostiko tumorjev, na osnovi merjenja cirkulirajočih tumorskih (matičnih) celic v krvi.«

Namen projekta so raziskave in razvoj analitskega in preparativnega orodja za diagnostiko tumorskih celic. V projektu BILAB razvija aptamere selektivne za cirkulirajoče tumorske celice oz. matične celice, ki bodo nadalje uporabni pri razvoju preparativnih in diagnostičnih orodij.

Bilateralni projekt poteka v sodelovanju s partnerji:

»Okoljski onesnaževalci in nevrodegenerativne bolezni: multidisciplinarna študija, ki temelji na raziskavah, usposabljanju in inovativnosti« v okviru programa Evropsko teritorialno sodelovanje program čezmejnega sodelovanja Italija-Slovenija 2007-2013, Evropskega sklada za regionalni razvoj.

Namen projekta je podpora raziskav in ustvarjanje sinergij med raziskovalnimi inštitucijami na področju biomedicinskih študij nevrodegenerativnih bolezni. Usmerjen je v ustvarjanje novih povezav visokokompetentnih kadrov, izboljšanju dostopnosti skupnih infrastruktur, mobilnosti zaposlenih raziskovalcev ter k raziskavam novih tem, pomembnih s socialno zdravstvenega vidika na področju nevrodegenerativnih bolezni. Podpora je v smeri razvoja biomedicinskih tehnologij, ki bodo lahko uporabljene za ekonomski razvoj regije in za spodbujanje razvoja konkurenčnejših podjetij.

Vloga BILAB v projektu:

  • Raziskave v smeri razvoja aptamernih biosenzorjev za odkrivanje ATP in drugih topnih mediatorjev pomembnih v nevroloških študijah.

»Čezmejni center za študij proteinov za onkološko raziskavo in diagnostiko« v okviru programa Evropsko teritorialno sodelovanje program čezmejnega sodelovanja Italija-Slovenija 2007-2013, Evropskega sklada za regionalni razvoj.

Projekt predlaga vzpostavitev centra za avtomatizirano proizvodnjo rekombinantnih proteinov z združevanjem in izmenjave strokovnega znanja med raziskovalnimi organizacijami in malimi in srednje velikimi podjetji (MSP) v Italiji in Sloveniji. Center bo osredotočen na vrsto raziskovalnih projektov, o splošni ter aplikativni onkologiji. Na dolgi rok, bo center ponujal inovativne visokotehnološke storitve in storitve širokega spektra in bo odprt za potrebe nosilcev raziskav in razvoja iz akademskih in industrijskih sredin iz področij biomedicine, farmacevtike, prehrane in okolja in s tem povečal produktivnost in konkurenčnost le teh. Sinergija na osnovi javno-zasebnega partnerstva bo omogočila tudi vzpostavitev programa usposabljanja na biotehnološkem in biomedicinskem področju. Usposabljanje bo prineslo interdisciplinarno ter intersektorialno znanje.

Vloga BILAB v projektu:

  • Razvoj aptamerov, aptamernih označevalcev in bioreceptorjev za bioanalitske aplikacije za raziskave raka.

Pacinno

The goal of PACiNNO is to establish a platform for cooperation in research and innovation covering the whole Adriatic region. Targeting both research institutions, policy makers and business entities, the project will help develop new bridges between the research and scientific activities, carried out at academic institutions, and the economic system, with specific reference to the technological needs of SMEs. More generally, PACiNNO is aimed at overcoming the main obstacles and barriers to the economic development of the Adriatic countries, fostering the competitiveness of their minor firms (both in the high-tech fields and in the traditional industries), and promoting the creation of innovative start-ups.

To reach such ambitious goals, the project will capitalize on the several programs and initiatives already implemented in the Adriatic region by the EU, the national governments and the local stakeholders. PACiNNO will combine research activities with direct interventions in the local innovation systems.

The active involvement and participation to the project initiative of the key innovation stakeholders (research centres, territorial bodies, science and technology parks, business incubators, financial investors, business units, multinational companies based in the region) is meant to create a regional innovation system supported by a permanent platform of collaboration, where private and public institutions can interact and integrate their efforts and resources to favor innovation outcomes across the region, even after the end of PACiNNO.

IPCOS – Imprinted Polymers as Coffee Sensors

 

 

The IPCOS project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) - Innovative Training Networks (ITN) under the grant agreement number 642014.


The aim of the IPCOS Network is to bring innovation to the field of food quality by offering an international, interdisciplinary and intersectorial doctoral training programme that will target the development of chemical sensors, using the molecular imprinting technology, for application in the coffee industry, focusing on three main groups of targets: a) chlorogenic acids, b) cafestol and kaurene terpenes, c) caffeine


This project brings together 2 academic teams, 1 large international company, 1 SME and one non-profit research centre of excellence, supported by 4 associated teams, with a very multidisciplinary and multisectorial expertise. The IPCOS training programme will require ESRs to work 50% of their time in industry, providing them with a set of unique scientific and transferable skills that will match both public and private sector needs, together with a strong development of innovation and entrepreneurship ethos, therefore considerably enhancing their career perspectives. All researchers will aim to achieve a doctoral degree at the end of their training. As a result of the close collaborative links, IPCOS will strengthen the innovation capacity of universities/research institutes to commercially exploit their research and enhance the research potential and competitiveness of European companies and SMEs.
